Bel-Red Auto License was founded in 1978 by Erna Wendel. Erna was a woman ahead of her time, and an entrepreneur looking for her opportunity to make a better life and support her family. Erna started with X employees and the belief that the citizens of Washington deserved friendly service and attention to detail for something that people often found confusing and intimidating.
In XXXX, Erna retired. She entrusted the operation of Bel-Red Auto License to Darla, her daughter-in-law. Darla took over with X employees and a vision to provide the best vehicle and vessel licensing services in the state. Bel-Red Auto License moved to new location in Bellevue in XXXX. (Fred Meyer). In XXXX, the office moved again to better serve its customers (CR Shopping Center).
